Exchange Policy
We offer an exchange policy only; refunds are not permitted.
Changing or Cancelling an Order
If you have placed an online order and wish to change or cancel it:

Notify us by email at info@themodelist.co.za before your order has been dispatched, or

If your order has already been dispatched, you may return the item to us for an exchange in accordance with the policy below.
Exchange Window
You have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request an exchange.
Eligibility for Exchange
To be eligible, items must:

Be in the same condition as received
-
Be unworn or unused
-
Include all tags and original packaging
-
Include your receipt or proof of purchase

Important: Items sent without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted.
Damages or Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival. Contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it.
Exceptions / Non-Exchangeable Items
Certain items cannot be exchanged, including:

Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)

Custom or personalized products
-
Personal care items (beauty products)
-
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
Sale items and gift cards are also not eligible for exchange.
Completing an Exchange
The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the original item and, once the exchange is approved, place a separate purchase for the new item.
For online orders, items must be returned via courier along with proof of purchase. You may also complete the exchange at one of our stores.
For in-store orders, items must be returned to the store with proof of purchase.
If an item is not in acceptable condition and your exchange is denied, we will notify you. The item can either be sent back to you for a R200 fee, or you may arrange your own collection from 139 Main Road, Somerset West, 7130.
Sale Items
Sale or non-full-price items cannot be exchanged unless an incorrect item was delivered due to a manufacturing fault or exceptional circumstances. You are responsible for inspecting delivered goods within the 14-day window to ensure they are correct.
Shipping Costs
You are responsible for paying the cost of returning items for exchange. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Delivery time for exchanged items may vary depending on your location.
